Raw Food Diet Diary: November 9, 2008

Today started with four yummy pears!

After the girls took off for church, I went on a bike ride out to Barker Reservoir.  I’ve done that for the past three Sundays.  This weekend, I rode both Saturday and Sunday.

I’m a little tired this evening, but that’s to be expected.  My knees are a little sore from riding two days in a row, but I’m otherwise fine.  It must be due to all of that fruity goodness I’m loading up on!  :)

Later, I refueled with a green smoothie made of:

  • 12 oz. water
  • Spinach to the 3 cup mark of the VitaMix
  • Leftover grapes and strawberries to the 6 cup mark
  • 6 Bananas

My raw food intake is going up, slowly but surely.

Tomorrow is a busy day.  Grades are due.  Time for this teacher to hit the sack!
